Lasu Student Allegedly Killed By DHL Truck [PHOTOS]

The family of late final year student of Lagos State University student Stanley Ipogah have cried out to the press after alleged owners of the DHL truck that killed him deny they own the truck. According to family sources, Stanley was standing on his lane at Iba bus-stop along Iba-Igando expressway on January 28th when the DHL truck pictured above knocked him down, killing him instantly.

The driver allegedly tried to leave the scene but was stopped by LASU students who seized the truck. Stanley was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. His family contacted DHL to report the incident and were told by DHL that the truck doesn't belong to them. Stanley's family is trying to get justice for him hence their turning to the press. APC Senators Walk Out Of National Assembly, Saying Presidency Is Going To Shift Polls Again

It turns out that members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Senate yesterday walked out of the national assembly, because of a noticed plot by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to canvass fresh postponement using the card reader as an excuse.

Suicide Bomber Kills two In A Restaurant In Yobe

Today, Tuesday, two people were killed in a suicide blast at a restaurant in the northeast Nigerian city of Potiskum, AFP reports.

A bomber blew himself up inside Al-Amir restaurant, a popular chain in northern Nigeria, at about 4:40 pm (1540 GMT), killing the manager and a steward. Thirteen staff and customers were seriously injured.

ISIS Beheads 21 Egyptian Christians - Report

Notorious Islamic State terror group ISIS released a video on Sunday showing the Islamic jihadis beheading 21 Egyptian Christians who were previously kidnapped in Libya.

The Islamic State’s Al Hayat Media, the group that has published the previous beheading videos in the Middle East, produced the Libya video titled, “A Message Signed With Blood To The Nation Of The Cross.”

“All praise is due to Allah the strong and mighty,” said an ISIS jihadist dressed in military fatigues in American-accented English. “And may blessings and peace be upon the ones sent by the sword as a mercy to all the worlds,” he added.
