Brie stunned in a Katie May wedding dress and Yves Saint Laurent heels—a gift from twin sister Nikki Bella, who served as maid of honor. "Nikki won't allow me to wear TOMS with my dress so she got me YSL heels," Brie admitted. "Even though I have always wanted to get married barefooted."

Boko Haram kills Scores of UTME candidates in Borno

According to punch news, Socres of students travelling to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in Borno State have been reportedly killed by the Boko Haram sect.

They were among several persons that lost their lives in multiple attacks unleashed by the dreaded sect in four communities.

The Senator representing Borno Central in the Senate, Zannah Ahmed, on Friday, accused the military of complicity in Thursday attack on part of troubled Borno State where he claimed that 210 people were killed in attacks on four towns.

The towns included Dikwa, Kala Balge, Gambulga and Gwoza.

The senator claimed that the attackers were all dressed in military uniforms and spoke English language.

This was a departure from the Hausa and Kanuri language spoken by the Boko Haram insurgents.

He even lamented that authorities of the military post in Gamboru, which purportedly received a distressed call from the people of Kala Balge avoided the town, claiming that it was not in its area of command.

The senator who said he was compelled to speak out because his people were being killed on a daily basis, added “what happened in Borno was beyond understanding.”

He said: “It is a must for me to speak since the people lives are involved and they are my people. All these are happening in my constituency and it will be wrong to keep quiet. I feel so much pained and would not have spoken but definitely my conscience will not let me do that.”

He alleged that 210 people were slaughtered by marauders, who dressed in military uniforms and attacked the towns in two armored personnel cars and seven double cabin pickups.

According to him, they attacked a Teachers College in Dikwa and killed seven people, burnt down the school library and administrative block.

He said Kala Balge was the most devastated as 60 people were killed by the armed men who went on the rampage.

He said after they left Kala Balge they attacked three other towns in the area where a total of 150 persons were killed.

Our correspondent made repeated efforts to call the Director of Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, without success as the calls to his mobile telephone line did not connect.

Our correspondent also sent a text message to the Defence Spokesman which had not been replied as of the time of filing the story.

A security source, however, said that the insurgents laid ambush for a group of students who were on their way to Biu from Maiduguri to write Senior the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination scheduled for Saturday April, 2014.

It was learnt that the JAMB candidates were riding in eight vehicles were they ran into the insurgents ambush.

It was, however, not clear whether the insurgents got the all occupants of the eight vehicles or not.

He stated however that the incident took place on Wednesday evening.

Davido goes into acting

Expanding his horizon is what i would like to call it, I stumbled upon this on punch news and want to share.
David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has become a force in the Nigerian music scene. Now, the young man wants to try his luck in the make-believe world as he launches into Nollywood.

Courtesy of his cousin, Ikechukwu Ojeogwu, a rookie producer, Davido will be a part of  Ojeogwu’s debut film, John Zerebe.

Ojeogwu, who told Saturday Beats that Teco Benson would be directing the film, insisted he was featuring Davido in the movie because he (Davido) fitted the role.

“I didn’t use him because he is my cousin. I didn’t use him to sell the movie as well. David fitted very well into the role and we had to use him as well,” Ojeogwu said.

The young producer, who is also playing the lead role in the movie, said he was yet to get the lead actress in the movie.

“I would have loved Genevieve to be the lead actress but I think everything depends on the director, Teco. He would be in a better position to know who should be the lead actress,” he said.

The Babcock University Banking and Finance graduate said he got into the movies for his love of the industry.

“I have always wanted to be in the movies. I have a passion for acting. I have featured in the popular sitcom, The Bella’s Place. This is not a one off thing; I intend to be a force in the movie industry,” he said.

His mother, nee Adeleke, married his father from Delta State but Ojeogwu said all members of his family have been supportive, including his mother’s siblings.

“I have learnt a lot from my uncles. They support me in whatever I want to do. I learn from them as well. I am not getting into the movie industry to be as popular as David, my cousin. This is just what I love doing and not because of the fame that comes with it,” he said.

For its latest issue, Parade has come out with its annual "What People Earn" job survey, which also happens to include the estimated salaries of several celebs.
So how does the average Joe's paycheck compare to the likes of, say, Justin Timberlake?
Well, not surprising, there's no comparison.
Thanks to his 20/20 Experience album being the top seller of the year, Justin Timberlake. raked in $63 million in 2013.

However, that's nothing (OK, maybe not nothing) compared to the whopping $76.5 million that Miley Cyrus pulled in.
And while some other singers didn't generate quite as much moola as the "Wrecking Ball" songstress, their numbers are still pretty impressive nevertheless.
Surely nobody's sneezing at Beyoncé's $57 million and Bruno Mars' $38 million.
Acting-wise, Sandra Bullock generated $63 million for herself stemming from such hit flicks as The Heat and Gravity, while newly minted Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey earned $19 million.

Abandoned NURTW member sets ex-lover ablaze

Adesanmoye Kehinde, a senior official of the Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Ikotun Lagos branch, has been arrested and dragged before the Ejigbo Magistrate Court in Lagos for allegedly setting his lover, Janet, 31, ablaze after she called off their relationship.

Kehinde, 43, who is married with three children, had been dating Delta state born Janet for a while and was planning marry her. Janet however decided to call the affair off because she felt Kehinde was too troublesome. Continue...

According to Janet who testified in court today, Kehinde had threatened to deal with her but she didn't take his threats seriously. He however carried out his threat by setting her ablaze at Ikotun Roundabout while she was on her way to a friend's house. She said unknown to her, Kehinde had trailed her as she left her house on Olaoluwa Street in Abaranje, Ikotun, poured petrol on her and then set her ablaze. She suffered major burns and injuries and is still in a critical condition.

Kehinde was later arrested and charged to court on a two-count charge under Sections 243 and 244 of the Criminal Code Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011. When the charge was read to him today in court, he pleaded not guilty. He was however granted bail by the court but could not meet up with the bail conditions. The case was adjourned to May 15 2015.

Jaywon VS Kennis controversy: ‘My contract’s expired, I need to move on’ says singer

Odun yi’ singer, James Oluwajuwonlo Edahi (Jaywon) is allegedly embroiled in a controversy surrounding his contract with Kennis Music with reports that Kennis Music has advised all broadcasters to desist from playing any of Jaywon’s material pending the resolution of the contract buy-out request.
But the singer has refuted rumours of a fight between himself and label boss Kenny Ogungbe in an interview with music station Nigezie saying he only wants to leave the Kennis Music since his contract has now expired.

Tom Hardy Poses Shirtless on Esquire Cover, Opens Up About Past Drug and Alcohol Abuse

Tom Hardy may look tough on the cover of Esquire, but don't let his buff shirtless body fool you: he's got insecurities just like everyone else. "I have always been frightened with men," he says in the May 2014 issue, "to the point where I couldn't go into a gym because of the testosterone and I felt weak."
Seriously? "I don't feel very manly," the 36-year-old action star insists. "I don't feel rugged and strong and capable in real life, not how I imagine a man ought to be. So I seek it, to mimic it and maybe understand it, or maybe to draw it into my own reality. People who are scary, they terrify me, but I can imitate them. I'm not a fighter. I'm a petite little bourgeois boy from London. I don't fight, I mimic."

Rihanna and Drake Hug and Kiss at Clippers Game, Sit Separately—See the Pic!

Wednesday's Clippers game would've been a perfect opportunity to put Rihanna and Drake up on the kiss cam!
Sadly, though, the not-very-good-at-hiding-their-PDA twosome were seated separately in L.A.'s Staples Center. But, that didn't stop Rihanna, 26, and Drake, 27, from temporarily separating from their respective crews to sneak in a little courtside hug and kiss between plays!
As you can see, the "Days In The East" rapper (and newly-named host of the 2014 ESPYs) was snapped hugged the "Right Now" singer protectively and planting a sweet kiss on her cheek. Rihanna, clearly receptive to the smooch, closed her eyes sensually as she reached to grab Drake's back.

This lovey-dovey moment came just one day after the pair spent an evening together at Supperclub in Hollywood to celebrate the birthday of Rihanna's BFF Melissa Forde. Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend and Drake arrived separately, but the rumored couple stayed close to each other, hugging and dancing all night!
Rihanna and Drake have yet to officially confirm they're dating, but between the hand holding, kisses and varying public displays of affection, they're not exactly trying to hide their true feelings either.
