During a live television segment on CNBC’s “Squawk On The Street” on June 27, host Simon Hobbs shockingly dropped the bomb that Apple CEO Tim Cook was allegedly gay!

The additional hosts of the segment, which included Carl Quintanilla, Sara Eisen and David Faber, were interviewing guest James R. Stewart, New York Times columnist and CNBC contributor, and talking about former BP CEO John Browne who has publicly acknowledged he is gay.

James was discussing his new column about John and said, “There are gay CEOs in major companies, and I reached out to many of them. I got an extremely cool reception, not one would allow to be named at all.”

Then, Simon chimed in and said, “I think Tim Cook is fairly open about the fact that he’s gay at the head of Apple, isn’t he?”

The desk felt the weight of Simon’s comment and fell silent. Jim responded by shaking his head and saying, “Hmmm, no.” Simon realized his shocking bomb and said, “Oh dear, was that an error?”

The table nervously tried to backtrack Simon’s outing of Tim. “I don’t want to comment on anybody who might or might not be,” Jim said. “I’m not going to out anybody and I called up a lot of people.”

Wow. Simon definitely owes Tim an apology for that shocking comment.

Eminem's Daughter Hailie Graduates From High School With Honors

Eminem's daughter, Hailie Jade Scott Mathers, graduated with honors from Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan on June 8.
According to the school district's website, the gorgeous teen didn't slack off during her four years in school.
Hailie, the subject of Eminem's 2002 track "Hailie's Song", was honored with an Academic Excellence Award, a Department of Psychology Award and graduated Summa Cum Laude, a distinction given to students who maintain at least a 3.9 GPA.
The rapper's daughter with his ex Kimberly plans to pursue either psychology or entrepreneurship at Michigan State University. In an entry published by the school, Hailie's noted to have been active with National Honor Society, Art Club, Key Club, Volleyball and Student Council.
The brunette didn't fail to thank her parents for her success either. Under the "Most influential during my lifetime" portion of the publication, the teen says, "My mother and father because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have."

FIFA Rates NIgerian Goal Keeper Vincent Enyeama Best African Player In the World Cup

Hardwork is paying off for Vincent Enyeama.

The Super Eagles goalkeeper has been ranked Africa's best player at the ongoing World Cup held in Brazil.

An Olympian and still very strong even when 34 weeks pregnant, Alysia Montaño ran the 800m on Thursday in the US Track and Field Championships.

The five-time national champion finished in 2min 32.13sec in the qualifying rounds, only seven weeks before she’s scheduled to give birth to her first child.

That the 28-year-old former University of California star finished last in her heat didn’t matter one bit to the crowd gathered at Hornet Stadium. Trailing the lead pack by more than 120m for most of the race, Montaño received a rousing ovation as she finished her first lap and the cheering grew louder when she finally crossed the finish line.

Alysia Montano, 28, has been running throughout the entire duration of her pregnancy. That’s why she did not even hesitate before running in the 800 at 8 months pregnant.

This has to be record though, because i have not seen or heard of any such thing.

He was arrested during intermission!

Eyewitness accounts from Shia’s reported arrest are coming in now — along with blurry pics of the actor allegedly being arrested! Megan Kinney, who says her friend was in the Cabaret audience with Shia, tweeted: “My friend was in the audience. He was allegedly smoking a joint and then fell out of his chair.”

Another person echoed the marijuana smoking. David Lawson tweeted: “Shia LaBeouf smoking a J at Cabaret!”

Cabaret cast member Danny Burstein wrote about Shia’s arrest on Facebook, saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs. Yep, that just happened.”

Kate Gordon says Shia was crying while being put in the cuffs. She tweeted: “Breaking news! @thecampaignbook #shia in handcuffs outside #cabaret in #nyc . And he’s crying. #truestory.”

From those who were there, it definitely looks like Shia was allegedly smoking a marijuana joint in the audience, got caught — and then was ultimately arrested during the show’s intermission and placed under arrest. Yikes! Talk about stealing the show!

Another Bomb Blast, When would this stop?
A bomb blast has rocked the Emab Plaza shopping complex in the Wuse district of the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

According to local reports scores of shoppers were killed in the attack.

"I can see human parts and some bodies scattered on the ground but we are too scared to get closer for fear of another bomb," a reporter at the scene said.

"Many traders and visitors to the mall are still trapped in the burning building," Vanguard News reported.

Nigerian emergency services are at the scene to assist those wounded in the attack.

Witnesses said that people could be seen running from the complex with blood on their clothes.

Manzo Ezekiel, National Emergency Management Agency spokesman, told AFP news agency: "You can see smoke billowing from the sky. It's a very crowded place."

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack but Boko Haram has previously committed attacks in Abuja as it continues to wage a violent insurgency against President Jonathan Goodluck's regime.

Last month, a car bomb attack killed at least 19 people and injured more than 60 at a bus station in the Nigerian capital.

The group, who wish to create an Islamic caliphate within Nigeria, kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls in April in the village of Chibok, bringing global attention to the west African nation's fight against terrorism.

Three northern states - Borno, Yobe and Adamawa - have been placed under a state of emergency since May last year.
The Government should please do something about the security of this country, because we all are fed up.

Speculations are rife that Ghanaian Nollywood actress, Juliet Ibrahim, who announced her divorce from her husband earlier this week, did so on the grounds that her hubby cheated on her.
Ghanaian born actress, Juliet Ibrahim, who recently announced her divorce from her husband, Kwadwo Safo, has finally revealed the reason she dumped her husband who is the son of a very popular Apostle in her home country, Ghana.

Though she would have preferred keeping silent over the issue, an authoritative Ghanaian entertainment newspaper, Razz Newspaper reports that the reasons she divorced her husband and father of her child was because the man cheated on her and that was something she could not take.
The paper did some investigations into the reasons for the divorce and allegedly spoke to some of Juliet's close friends who opened up on the reason for the divorce.

According to sources very close to the actress, Juliet claims that the marriage was a mistake that shouldn’t have happened. She said that she got involved with Kwadwo Safo briefly and in the course of the friendship, she got pregnant. The unplanned pregnancy is what caused Kwadwo to marry her.

The actress shockingly claims that Kwadwo Safo’s family did not support the marriage from the onset. The family of her husband failed to show up for the marriage ceremony and have openly showed their disapproval and lack of support for the marriage.
Juliet also said that the marriage ended over a year and half ago and another reason for the break up was that Kwadwo Safo got involved with another lady who was as fair as she (Juliet) and competed for the love and attention of her husband.

The source claims that Juliet was overly angry at her husband because the fair complexion of the said lady was as a result of bleaching; so, she wondered why her husband would go in for somebody like that.
In another related twist, Juliet is said to have been in a serious relationship with Nigerian model/actor IK Ogbonna right after her marriage collapsed. She spends most of her time in Nigeria and she is reported to have spent quality time with IK. The model even featured in Juliet Ibrahim’s music video to her Lukewarm single released months ago.

Juliet and IK broke up recently and IK is reported to have used his social media page to plead to the actress for forgiveness and seeking a comeback.
