Paul Walker's Mother Files For Guardianship Of His Daughter Meadow, Claims Mother Has Alcohol Problems

Paul Walker's mother is fulfilling her late son's wishes. The late actor's mother, Cheryl Walker, has filed court documents asking for guardianship of his 15-year-old daughter Meadow, the L.A. Superior Court confirms to Us Weekly. The forms were submitted on Tuesday, March 18.

Cheryl claims in the court documents that Meadow's mother, Rebecca Soteros, has an alcohol issue. (Soteros has been arrested for 2 DUIs -- one in 2003 and one in 2013.) Cheryl also reportedly stated that she's qualified for the responsibility because she has raised four children of her own and is a registered nurse.

As previously reported, Walker requested in his will that Cheryl be appointed Meadow's guardian. He also left his entire $25 million fortune to the teen. His father, Paul Walker Sr., reportedly also stated that his son wanted Cheryl to be the custodian of the money.
Meadow had been staying with her father in L.A. at the time of his tragic death on Nov. 30. She has since traveled back to reside with Soteros in Hawaii, where she was raised for most of her life.

"I'm glad I had her at 25, because at 40 and 15, we're matching up sweet. It's just working," Walker told Us of living with Meadow two weeks before his death. "It's perfect."
