Police Discover Another Baby Factory in ABIA STATE, Arrest Its Owner



Shocking But True!, One more baby factory was discovered by the Abia State Police Command at Umuabuwa village in Osisioma Local Government Area of the state.

The Imo State Police Command was rescuing 16 pregnant girls aged from an illegal orphanage that operated in the guise of an NGO, November 2013

The operator of the "Osu Abuwa" baby factory, Mrs. Comfort Osu Abu, was arrested and interrogated.

Mrs. Abu used her home as the shelter for pregnant teenagers and women whose children she sold to potential purchasers.

The process of child adoption was illegal as it didn't correspond to the procedure stipulated by law.

It became known that the woman was involved in the illegal child trafficking business for many years.

The police also arrested a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Blessing Iheanacho, on charges of conspiracy to cover a pregnant woman, Chidinma Okeke, with the intent of adopting her baby on delivery.

The couple who were childless after 18 years of marriage, have contracted Chidinma to get pregnant and kept her at Comfort's home in order to adopt her baby when the the time comes.

Reports claim that Chidinma gave birth to a baby boy in an undisclosed hospital in Aba.

Also a pregnant girl, Miss Ozuchi Chinasa, who was also harboured at the "Osu Abuwa", was rescued during the raid.
