David Beckham Travels To Amazon To Shoot New Documentary

Becks is having the time of his life "I guess".

Flying 5,000 miles from London to South America, David Beckham made a brief stop in Rio de Janeiro before moving on to Manaus, the capital city of Amazonas. From there, he meets up with pals Derek White and Dave Garden and the trio travels by motorbike and boat to the small community of Angelin.
Becks was filmed cooking, fishing and camping (and of course looking hot) with his two pals for the 90-minute film, which will air in June on BBC One, ahead of the World Cup.
"This is an unforgettable documentary set in the heart of the dense Amazon rainforest following David Beckham," Helen Jackson, managing director for content at BBC Worldwide, said. "Through his eyes, audiences will experience life in the jungle, something so distant from David's life on and off the pitch and in the glare of the world's media."
BBC One's controller Charlotte Moore added: "In this special documentary for BBC One, David Beckham embarks on a top secret expedition to the Amazon that will see him encounter the other side of Brazil and journey through the tropical rainforest, a TV first for the global icon."
