Good friends no matter what.
Despite Serena Williams, 32, beating Caroline Wozniacki, 24, during Sunday’s US Open women’s final in New York, the long-time tennis pals headed out for a night on the town shortly after.
After the match, Wozniacki told Williams, “You are an unbelievable champion and an inspiration on and off the court and we’ll go for drinks later,” reports E! Online.
Wozniacki also took to Instagram to congratulate her friend: “Thank you everybody for the incredible support these weeks! It was a good run, unfortunately lost to a better player today! Congrats @serenawilliams on #18, well deserved!”
