'White People Have Snatched The Sound' J'cole Disses Eminem, Iggy Azalea, Justin Timberlake In New Song

Fire Squad is a leaked track from Jcole's soon to be released album titled '2014 forest Hill drive'. The rapper had a lot to say on the track. He calls out  the famous white artists in the industry like; Eminem, Macklemore and Iggy Azalea who beat Drake and Eminem for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album & Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist at this year’s American Music Awards. . Read lines from the track after the break.....

"History repeats itself and that’s just how it goes / Same way that these rappers always bite each other’s flows / Same thing that my ni**a Elvis did with rock ‘n’ roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and then Macklemore,"

"While silly ni**as argue over who gon’ snatch the crown / Look around my ni**a, white people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile.”

Cole's quick to say he's "just playin', but all good jokes contain true shit." Like how Macklemore swept the rap awards at the GRAMMYs earlier this year, defeating artists like Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Kanye West and Jay Z, and then texted "you got robbed" to K-Dot?

It feels like Cole's disses might be more about the racism he witnesses in American culture—a topic he painfully delved into over the summer with his Michael Brown tribute "Be Free"—than about the artists themselves. After all, it was only a year ago that Cole jumped on a remix of Timberlake's own "TKO." (He was actually testy on that cut, too, responding viciously to Kendrick Lamar's controversial "Control" verse despite the fact they've teamed up multiple times.) We'll have to see if anyone comes for Cole over "Fire Squad." Iggy was awfully quick to respond to a recent ugly reference from Eminem...
