Now Drake might be the next rapper to leave the label as music insiders are buzzing that the Grammy winner could be making behind-the-scenes moves to sever ties with the label after he stealthily released his latest album, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” with no warning. The surprise move came unusually close to the release of another announced, soon-to-be-released album, “Views From the 6,” which Drake said would be released later this year.
The album "If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late,” quickly hit number one on the billboard 200, but Drake who signed a 5 album deal with YMCMB would be free when he releases "View from the 6".
