Publicity stunt or Nah?
Whatever it is, its still good news for Beck, because even though he looked confused on stage after been dissed by Kanye West at the Grammys, his album “Morning Phase” was not only the surprise winner at the Sunday show but shot to No. 1 on iTunes ahead of Sam Smith and Taylor Swift.
Also, the number of streams for “Morning Phase” was up a whopping 2,169 percent by Monday evening. Beck’s entire catalog spiked on Spotify by 1,246 percent.
Safe to say Kanye deserves at least a thank you card.
