Blurred Suit? Pharrell & Robin Thicke To Pay $ 7.3M To Marvin Gaye's Family

The verdict couldn't be any clearer.

Blurred Lines co-creators Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams copied parts of Marvin Gaye’s 1977 hit “Got to Give It Up” for their 2012 song, and has been told by the jury to pay the sum of $7.3 million to the late soul singer’s estate.

Robin $ Pharrell who made a whooping $16 million (making $5 million each) off the record have been battling Gaye’s children for a year over whether their bass-driven, Grammy-nominated smash hit took too liberally from Gaye’s song.

Rapper T.I. might also be making donations as he raps on “Blurred Lines,” reportedly making about $700,000 from the monster selling record.
