Rapper Iggy Azalea Responds To Erykah Badu's Diss During The Soul Train Awards

Took one month off, now she is back up in this b****!!!!!

Even though talented Aussie Rapper claimed that she would be off twitter till 2016 except if she had major updates, she had to break that for something major but not so much of an update.

It all started when singer Erykah Badu used her opening monologue to address issues she has with the Soul Train Awards, the main one being the fact that rap is "banned" from being honored. While on stage she pretended to call artists she wanted to invite to the awards show, including Azalea.

"Uh yes? Who is this? Iggy Azalea?" she said. "Yeah, hey. Oh, no, no, no, no, you can come, 'cause what you doin' is definitely not rap."

The Internet exploded with memes of Azalea's potential facial expression upon hearing the joke, but she didn't address it until last night.

The "Fancy" rapper took to the social media platform to respond to Erykah Badu's diss from the Soul Train Awards Sunday. But what started as a simple tweet addressing Badu's jab quickly turned into a rant in which Azalea addressed the delay in her own music and the health of one of her horses.

"We are days from 2016, but i came online today and saw its still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL," she tweeted. "F--king hell. Seems exhausting. Anyway - Ive been enjoying the holiday season and i hope you all have too."
She also stated that she's "ready" with her music but has to "restructure some things to work smoother and better..." She noted that the changes to her record would probably take a few weeks, so fans should sit tight for a little while longer.
