Asking why she wanted to embark on boob reduction, Afro Candy told Saturday Tribune through text message: “I have been having back pain lately, and when I went to my doctor for that, he said I was carrying load on my chest; that’s what’s causing it. Also, I can’t jog, run, jump rope or dance as I would like to without being conscious of the bouncing boobies. So, I wanna be able to do all that and be pain-free.”
When asked how her movie, Destructive Instinct, was doing in the market, she said she had been frustrated out of the market by pirates, just like other producers.
“Pirates are frustrating the distribution of my movie. Information I gathered from my fans revealed that my movie was being sold in traffic in Nigeria. Some complained they bought the movie and when they played it, there was nothing on the CD/DVD. In essence, they bought empty CDs. Also, the marketer I put in charge is not honest, so I don’t trust him no more; and that’s why I had to suspend the distribution and announced that my fans should stop buying it until I resolve the issues,” she said further.
