Shia LaBeouf, 28, is no stranger to acting bizarre and causing a ruckus — but this takes the cake! Shia was allegedly smoking marijuana while attending a June 26 performance of the musical, which stars Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming, at Studio 54 in New York City. He was arrested during intermission!
Eyewitness accounts from Shia’s reported arrest are coming in now — along with blurry pics of the actor allegedly being arrested! Megan Kinney, who says her friend was in the Cabaret audience with Shia, tweeted: “My friend was in the audience. He was allegedly smoking a joint and then fell out of his chair.”

Cabaret cast member Danny Burstein wrote about Shia’s arrest on Facebook, saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs. Yep, that just happened.”
Kate Gordon says Shia was crying while being put in the cuffs. She tweeted: “Breaking news! @thecampaignbook #shia in handcuffs outside #cabaret in #nyc . And he’s crying. #truestory.”
From those who were there, it definitely looks like Shia was allegedly smoking a marijuana joint in the audience, got caught — and then was ultimately arrested during the show’s intermission and placed under arrest. Yikes! Talk about stealing the show!
