Taylor swift didnt only get a big cheque for her platinum selling album but also got a private party that was attended by music top guns at Burger & Barrel in Soho on Thursday night.
Republic Records hosted “a very private and small gathering,” a spy said, to toast the platinum-plus sales of The 24 year old singer's new album, “1989.” No other solo artist has sold a million records in one week since Swift did it two years ago with “Red.”
The website also reports that guests included label boss Charlie Walk. Restaurateur John McDonald whipped up white truffle burgers for the celebration and Swift was presented with a cake in the shape of a Polaroid camera, echoing her new album cover, and made by BCakeNY.
The next day, Swift dressed for Halloween as a white pegacorn — a cross between a pegasus and unicorn.
