Actress Lupita Nyongo' Did Not Really Used To Know A Lot About Fashion

You know how they say your position and level of greatness changes you as an entity, well it is the same for Lupita Nyong'o who even though she shines as bright as a diamond, did not really used to be fashion savvy.

Pagesix reports that even though Lupita Nyong’o was on Vogue’s cover last summer, the designers of clothing line Veronica Beard said the actress wasn’t as savvy about fashion just months before.

“Lupita came in just after she was nominated [for ‘12 Years a Slave’] and admitted she didn’t know what she was doing,” said Veronica Miele Beard at a Q&A with Alina Cho at the Central Park Conservancy Winter Luncheon.

A year later, “she felt how important clothes were.” Beard designs the line with sister-in-law Veronica Swanson Beard.
