Um, get ready to cry literally all of the tears. At the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, Vin Diesel Paid tribute to Paul Walker in the most emotional way possible. Watch if you think you can handle it!
Well, sometimes we all need a good sob! At the MTV Movie Awards on Apr. 12, Furious 7 star Vin Diesel was on hand to present the very first award of the evening, Best Female Performance. However, before handing that coveted popcorn to winner Shailene Woodley, Vin of course took a moment to honor his Furious costar and friend Paul Walker. Though Vin isn’t necessarily known as a singer, he sang a little tune for Paul, and it is guaranteed to pull at all of your heartstrings. Check it out! below
Though it’s been well over a year since Paul Walker’s untimely and tragic death, he is still greatly missed and his absence continues to be felt. Case in point: Vin’s moving song for him. Appropriately titled “See You Again,” the short little tune had the perfect message for one friend missing another.
“It’s been a long day without you, my friend,” Vin sang as the crowd erupted into cheers. “And I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again.”
“See You Again” was actually created specifically for Furious 7, making Vin’s choice to sing it all the more fitting. Written and performed by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, Vin posted the song on his Facebook aside a fittingly emotional message.
“Pablo, this weekend you turned the world into a family… Thanks for the love…” Vin wrote. In the video, which you can watch below, a montage of some of the franchise’s best and most emotional moments have been strung together to basically give us all of the feels.
