So we are in this day and age where Nigerian singers and rappers are breaking grounds and taking Nigerian music to another level. The likes of D banj charting in countries across Africa and Wiz kid, Davido amongst others, well another singer Burna boy just recently took to social media (twitter) this evening to announce that he's signed an exclusive songwriter deal with US label Island Records, which is part of the Universal Music Group.
