63 Senators Sign up To Impeach President Goodluck Jonathan

The impeachment plot against President Goodluck Jonathan is said to have gathered momentum as 63 senators are now said to be backing the plan.

The Senators in question, including eight from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have signed a document to show their support for the impeachment notice against the president, Punch reports.

Meanwhile Selena – who had an emotional performance at the 2014 AMAs – posted a picture of herself having a great time with BFF Taylor Swift.

A source to the Biebs told reporters: "Justin really has to show a major effort if he wants to win Selena back. At this point, she doesn’t have any faith in him keeping his word to her. He would have to get on one knee and propose. It would have to be that extreme."

The 9th edition of the Nigeria Music Video Awards (NMVA) 2014 was held yesterday, 26th November at the Convention centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island saw Olamide take home the biggest award Of the night 'Best Video Of The Year'.

Hosted by DJ Jimmy Jatt, the show themed, “A world without violence”, was dedicated to further deepening the consciousness of a violence free environment which is necessary for peace to thrive. This is against the backdrop of violent eruptions arising from religious, ethnic, civil and political disputes all over the world.

The audience were thrilled by outstanding performances from the likes of OritseFemi, 2Face, MC Galaxy to Niyola, amongst others. Top winners of the night include Olamide and Mr. Songz who both won two awards each in their nominated categories.

10 Year old Boy Thrown Into River For Alleged Witchcraft In Akwa Ibom

According to punchng a 10-year-old boy, Usen Okon, who was thrown into the Imo River in the Ikot Abasi area of Akwa Ibom State, over witchcraft accusation, has survived the ordeal.
A non-government organisation, the Humanist Association for Peace and Social Tolerance Advancement and its partner, Child’s Rights and Rehabilitation Network, said the boy was being taken care of by the groups.
