According to Us Weekly, Lupita Nyong'o's Oscars 2015 Calvin Klein gown was stolen right out of her hotel room.
The custom halter dress with an open back design was created by Francisco Costa and featured 6,000 white pearls, and is valued at $150,000.
"I can confirm a dress was stolen from the London Hotel that belonged to the actress Lupita Nyong'o," a spokesperson from the L.A. sheriff's department tells Us. "We believe it was taken sometime during the day yesterday (2/25). We are looking at every scenario; when the cleaners go to clean the rooms they do it with the door open so that's a possibility." The spokesperson added, "Currently we are still investigating, detectives are interviewing and looking for witnesses."Calvin Klein reported had no comment on the incident
