Lupita Nyong’o’s stolen Oscar gown returned Because Of The Fake Custome Pearls
It was earlier reported that Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar gown said to be worth $150K was stolen, well it turns out the thief who stole the Oscar dress picked the wrong day to steal as he has returned the gown to the scene of the crime on Friday after realizing it was made of costume pearls.
The thief stole the dress on Tuesday after seeing the door to the actress’ room at the London West Hollywood was open, but returned the dress Friday leaving it in a trash bag in a bathroom at the hotel after realizing the 6,000 pearls on the custom-made Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein gown were imitations TMZ reports.
