New BFFs? Days after snagging her first Oscar, Lupita Nyong'o also snagged two incredible selfies with none other than Rihanna!
"#MiuMiu selfie with the sensational Rihanna @badgalriri. #Paris," Nyong'o, 31, captioned the picture via Instagram on Wednesday, March 5. In the amazing snapshot, the Kenyan native edited two photos together of herself next to the "Stay" singer. Nyong'o stunned in jewels and a dark cranberry ensemble while Rihanna, 26, wore sunglasses and a leather jacket with yellow detail.
Nyong'o has been the belle of the ball this award season, and came out on top when she took home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar on Sunday, March 2, for her work in 12 Years a Slave.
"It doesn't escape me for one moment that so much joy in my life is due to so much pain in someone else's," she told the star-studded crowd during her acceptance speech.
"Thank you for putting me in this position. It has been the joy of my life," she told director Steve McQueen. "When I look down at this golden statue, may it remind me and every little child that no matter where you're from, your dreams are valid."
