Robin Thicke Steps Out Smiling Without His Wedding Ring in NYC: Picture
Through Thicke and thin? Maybe not! Robin Thicke stepped out without his wedding band on Friday, Mar. 7 in NYC, even after professing his eternal love (multiple times!) for estranged wife Paula Patton.
Days after telling concertgoers that he was trying to win her back, Thicke was all smiles Friday afternoon without his wedding band. The singer, who turns 37 on Monday, Mar. 10, was photographed interacting with fans outdoors, ahead of his concert in Madison Square Garden Friday night.
Since the high school sweethearts announced their separation on Feb. 24, the "Blurred Lines" crooner has been on a public tour (of sorts) to save his marriage. On Sunday, Mar. 2, the singer -- still wearing his wedding ring -- sang Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" at his concert at the Borgata in A.C. He also dedicated his song, "Lost Without U" to the Baggage Claim actress and confessed onstage: "For y'all that don't know, me and my wife separated but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman."
Patton, meanwhile, seemed unfazed by Thicke professing his love while dancing to his hit single at a pre-Oscars bash on Mar. 1. "She didn't let it ruin her evening," an eyewitness told Us Weekly.
Despite the latest setbacks in his personal life, Thicke took some time Thursday, Mar. 6 to use his celebrity for good. The singer stopped by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation's studio at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to meet with kid patients.
Thicke was once again without his wedding band for the outing, as seen in an Instagram photo uploaded from his visit. "Met some incredible children earlier today," he wrote beside a cute picture of him taking a selfie with a little girl. (The snapshot was Thicke's first Instagram post since his separation announcement.)
