A Manhattan judge found “Captain America” actor Anthony Mackie guilty Friday of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol — a violation not a crime — after a two-day nonjury trial.
“Thank you your honor for listening to the case and coming up with a fair conclusion. Thank you,” Mackie said after Judge Kevin McGrath issued his ruling.
Mackie was pulled over in Harlem in 2013. He was arrested after an officer smelled booze on his breath and saw his bloodshot eyes.
But he argued at trial his eyes were red from antihistamines he was taking for a cold.
