Hollywood actress, Julia Roberts lost her mother, Betty Lou Motes in the early hours of Thursday. Betty was 80 years old and had been battling lung cancer.
She was being treated at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., at the time of her death, according to sources close to the family.
The news comes a little more than a year after the world learned that Roberts’ half-sister, Nancy Motes, committed suicide.
Betty Lou was living with her daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren before her death.
