Fifty Shades of Grey Sets Record for Biggest International Opening of an R-Rated Film, making $248.7 Million at Global Box Office.


Despite film critics' complaints, the movie Fifty shades of grey brought in a gross of $90.7 million domestically and $158 million internationally, bringing the grand global total to $248.7 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

This number broke records, making Fifty Shades the biggest international opening of all time for an R-rated film.
